Tabitha studied adult nursing at the university of Liverpool, and worked in acute and emergency medicine for 2 years before deciding to focus on non-communicable diseases and social determinants of health. During her time in Zanzibar, she will be working on a medical ward to identify the most prevalent diseases and issues, and ways to sustainably tackle them. She is passionate about community engagement, education and disease prevention.
