Megan Tessier-Varlet

Adult Nurse

Megan has worked as a nurse in the UK across Accident & Emergency, Telehealth and Health Protection. This has included caring for patients in busy emergency departments, supporting individuals remotely through digital healthcare, and being involved in public health work with a particular focus on vaccines.

Alongside her clinical experience, Megan has developed a strong academic interest in global health. She completed an MSc in Global Health and, more recently, the Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. These studies have deepened her interest in infectious disease prevention and the role of vaccinations in improving health outcomes worldwide.

Megan is now looking forward to working in Fort Portal, where she hopes to learn from local staff and communities, share her own experiences, and work together through knowledge exchange.
