Maryam Mzee Said

Maryam is an orthopaedic technologist. She trained at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Science (MUHAS) at KCMC campus in Tanzania. Whilst working at Mnazimmoja Referral Hospital, in Zanzibar, she has engaged with club foot management, rehabilitation prosthetics and the management of foot ulcers as a result of diabetes. She further developed her training in orthotics management and prevention of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) at a short term course in Salford University in Manchester.

Marayam began working for  K4C in 2023,  she acts as a programme manager and is based in the orthopaedic workshop at MMH.
