Kelly Carr

Kelly has been qualified over 20 years and has had an interest in global health issues since being a student nurse! During her time as a registered nurse she gained a wide variety of experiences. In the NHS she worked within surgery, medicine, palliative care, teaching, project management, ITU, emergency pre-hospital care and prisons. She also trained and served in the Royal Air Force for 7.5 years.

Kelly says: "I have always been passionate about education and supporting student nurses and on my return to the U.K I will be starting a role as a visiting lecturer with Newman University.  I’m coming with my husband (who is volunteering in a school) and 3 of our 4 boys!"
