Javiera Sanders

Midwife

Javiera is a UK-qualified midwife from 2023, with over 8 years of experience as a nurse. Javiera has worked across diverse healthcare environments internationally, including the UK, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Nicaragua, Kenya.

Since the beginning of her nursing career, she has been highly motivated to progress into midwifery and remains passionate about it. She is particularly interested in learning from different healthcare systems and approaches to care, which has driven her experience working in different countries.

She is now very motivated to work in Zanzibar and is excited to learn from experienced midwives while further developing her skills in resource-limited settings.
