Dr Judith Auma

Judith is a medical Doctor and Global Health enthusiast, working with Knowledge for Change (K4C) to support health system strengthening, with an emphasis on neonatal care and prevention of cervical cancer in Uganda.
In addition to acting as the local lead for the K4C cervical screen and treat project in Fort Portal, she is also working as a medical officer in the neonatal intensive care unit of the regional referral hospital.
Judith holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Gulu University and is now pursuing a Master of Science (Research) in Social Policy from the University of Salford. Her master’s thesis focuses on the evaluation of programmatic experiences and the effectiveness of integrating cervical cancer prevention services for HIV positive women in a Ugandan community health facility.
