Amy Pitman

Midwife

Amy qualified as a midwife from The University of Manchester in 2018 and since, has worked in a busy maternity unit in South Manchester. Rotating between different inpatient areas has enabled her to become confident in providing care to women in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period, but Amy most enjoys the fast-paced environment of the delivery suite. Having been qualified for almost three years, Amy is keen for a new challenge, and can’t wait to begin work in Uganda.

Amy loves travelling and meeting new people, and is looking forward to exploring Kampala and the rest of Uganda. When she isn’t working, Amy also enjoys climbing, reading, cooking and socialising with friends.
