Amrik Virdi

Doctor (Anesthesiologist)

Amrik has been a doctor for 4 years, graduating from Newcastle University (MBBS) in 2020. He completed his first year of ACCS training in the UK and will begin his anaesthetic training component when returning to the UK after volunteering.

Amrik has a keen interest in teaching and quality improvement. During his time in Fort Portal, Amrik ran weekly medical emergency teaching sessions for the general medicine department. He also has previous experience in research, and with this skillset, he helped the K4C colleagues with ongoing and new projects, particularly involving neonatal resuscitation and sepsis.
